Roots & Culture is an event, production and catering company that operates from a beautiful farm 50 min from Oslo. They work towards raising The awareness, knowledge and insight into natural, healthy and sustainable products, lifestyles and services.
At Monument festival 2019 they will be serving healthy and organic soul food and snacks. Naturally wild fermented Roots tonic called The Fire Of Thor made with 15 local herbs and trees such oak, birch, Chaga, nettle, meadowsweet, fireweed and much more! All herbs hand picked from their own land at Sande I Vestfold.
KRØNSJ features a changing menu focusing on freshness, juicy sauces and crunchy toppings. Their food will be created from what is available and seasonal ingredients inspired by their Chef. Focusing on leafy greens, veggies, fruits, whole grains, nuts, seeds, flowers and lean proteins, with plenty of vegan options!
Their philosophy is to serve healthy, local and affordable food, in a fun and Krønsjy way! Krønsj supports local farmers and small green-sustainable businesses. Our ingredients are grown locally, organic and seasonal whenever possible. The food is prepared fresh and handmade to order in their mobile-kitchen.
For this event they will offer fresh, crisp delicious stuff, and smokin’ hot BBQ for you festival lovers! Some of the dishes that can be expected: Butter bean stew with pecorino and sorrel, grilled cheese toast, Norwegian lompe-tacos. BBQ skewers and grilled veggies, relish and fermented cabbage. And some night snacks.
Club Mate will serve delicious alcohol free alternatives.
Aass will also serve us drinks.
You can not bring drinks and food into the festival area. Glass bottles are prohibited also on the camping area.
